HOLLYWOOD(Spiritsman)7/21/13/—- Bols Yogurt Liqueur has just been launched in California in July,and I will tell you right now that if you want to do an Adult Smoothie you can do a lot worst than using this new innovative product from the Bols family. The company has a product range of 35 different flavors, and their distribution arm now reaches out to 110 countries
Bols started out in Amsterdam way back in 1575 and the liqueur is made from fresh yogurt. It has 15% Alcohol by volume and is distilled and bottled in Holland. Retailing for $17.99, the liqueur made its soft debut in June, and by the time you read this it will be available nationwide.
One good reason why bartenders might like this stuff is that it does not curd when used with fresh juices or sodas, and it has a very low fat percentage.Even the bottle has been designed with a special coating to ensure that the product remains in optimum condition.
This is a nice addition to any home bar especially if you want something lighter one night, amd most of the cocktails you can make are fairly easy and straightforward.

Strawberry Smoothie- 3 oz Bols, 3 strawberries, Ice and blend.
Banana Smoothie- 3 oz Bols, 1 Banana, blend
Melon Smoothie- 3 oz Bols, ¼ Honeydew Melon, blend
Bartender Favourites :
Shamrock- 0.5 oz Bols Yogurt, 0.5 oz Vodka, 1 oz Bols Melon, 1 oz Jameson Whisky
Eldorado- 1 oz Bols Yogurt, 1 oz Aged Rum, 0.5 oz Pedro Ximenez Sherry, 2 dashes
Angostura Bitters.
Rosie- 1 oz Bols Yogurt, 1 oz Orange Vodka, 0.5 oz Grenadine, 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Carnation-1 oz Bols Yogurt, 0.5 oz Bols Genever, 0.5 oz Crème de Violet, 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice, Basil leaves for garnish.
