Lots of greenery over the mountains, clean dry air and high elevations; this time of year attracts travelers, tourists, locals, food and wine aficionados. Team Player Productions hosted the 8th annual Park City Food and Wine Classic in beautiful Park City, Utah.  The festival featured grand tastings and several events with domestic and international wineries, master sommeliers, winemakers, culinary greats and industry and distinguished guests. http://parkcityfoodandwineclassic.com

The Park City Food & Wine Classic raises money to support the People’s Health Clinic with a percentage of all the ticket sales.  With the generous support from the ticket sales and volunteers the Clinic fills a great need in local health care. An average of 55 people are seen each day approximately 8,600 patients were provided care in 2011 with 175 volunteers and  6,000 hours of clinical and fundraising efforts. To date the Park City Food and Wine Classic has generated over $130,000 for non-profits http://peopleshealthclinic.org

The local Resorts, and restaurants host many of the Food & Wine Classic events; In Deer Valley the St. Regis Deer Valley opened with the kickoff  wine event on the Mountain.     The Canyons Resort hosted several tastings throughout the festival featuring, the Antinori Family of Tuscany, Italy also with seminars one on the Fascination with Cabernet around the World.  Since 1385 the Antinori Family has been making wines, with highly acclaimed, global recognition, Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Col Solare, Antica Napa Valley, and Guardo Al Tasso estate in Bolgheri, Italy.  http://Antinori.it

The Canyon Resort, featured many tasting events, one; If the wine matters, so does the Glass, wines were compared into Riedel glass to illustrate how the shape of the glass affects the flavor and perception of every sip. The Stroll of Park City sponsored by Merrell was held in the historic downtown, Park City.  Just down the street from the Washington School House hotel, a boutique hotel in the heart of the old town, beautifully renovated with old school marble appointments, and 16 foot ceilings and chandelier breakfast room, complete with Frette Sheets, Italian original and Molton Brown of London Beauty Products, including lap pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop. The breakfast skinny omelets made to order and blueberry smoothie with almond milk, and specialty mineral enhanced teas, Divine! Some of the stroll included stops at The High West Distillery and Saloon, Utah’s first distillery since prohibition and the worlds only ski in gastro -distillery.
