Park City, UT(Spiristman)7/15/12/—Park City, Utah is usually thought of a winter wonderland and renowned for Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival, the summer season is absolutely beautiful, nestled at 7,000 feet the altitude combined with views will take your breath away. Lots of greenery over the mountains, clean dry air and high elevations; this time of year attracts travelers, tourists, locals, food and wine aficionados. Park City chamber and visitors Bureau welcomes guests to experience the summer season, with over 100 restaurants, bars, shopping, art galleries, food, wine and music festivals, world class hiking, biking and champion golf courses and very luxurious world class spas, The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge, rated #1 Spa in continental US by Conde Naste Traveler 2011.  Montage Deer Valley the newest luxury property with over 35,000 sq. ft  luxury Spa, and at the Canyons Resort two spas featuring the World famous Golden Door Spa at the Waldorf Astoria one of only five in the world, Asian inspired .

Team Player Productions hosted the 8th annual Park City Food and Wine Classic in beautiful Park City, Utah.  The festival featured grand tastings and several events with domestic and international wineries, master sommeliers, winemakers, culinary greats and industry and distinguished guests.

The Park City Food & Wine Classic raises money to support the People’s Health Clinic with a percentage of all the ticket sales.  With the generous support from the ticket sales and volunteers the Clinic fills a great need in local health care. An average of 55 people are seen each day approximately 8,600 patients were provided care in 2011 with 175 volunteers and  6,000 hours of clinical and fundraising efforts. To date the Park City Food and Wine Classic has generated over $130,000 for non-profits

The local Resorts, and restaurants host many of the Food & Wine Classic events; In Deer Valley the St. Regis Deer Valley opened with the kickoff  wine event on the Mountain.     The Canyons Resort hosted several tastings throughout the festival featuring, the Antinori Family of Tuscany, Italy also with seminars one on the Fascination with Cabernet around the World.  Since 1385 the Antinori Family has been making wines, with highly acclaimed, global recognition, Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Col Solare, Antica Napa Valley, and Guardo Al Tasso estate in Bolgheri, Italy.

The Canyon Resort, featured many tasting events, one; If the wine matters, so does the Glass, wines were compared into Riedel glass to illustrate how the shape of the glass affects the flavor and perception of every sip. Also at the Canyons Resort ; The Toast of Park City Grand tasting with an extensive impressive list of domestic and international vineyards, gourmet food and live entertainment.

The Stroll of Park City sponsored by Merrell was held in the historic downtown, Park City.  Just down the street from the Washington School House hotel, a boutique hotel in the heart of the old town, beautifully renovated with old school marble appointments, and 16 foot ceilings and chandelier breakfast room, complete with Frette Sheets, Italian original and Molton Brown of London Beauty Products, including lap pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop. The breakfast skinny omelets made to order and blueberry smoothie with almond milk, and specialty mineral enhanced teas, Divine! Guest attendees, and press then walked right to the action of the festival and stroll through the old city on main street, stopping at designated restaurant,bar locations to sample the hundreds of wines and savory food samples.









Some of the stroll included stops at The High West Distillery and Saloon, Utah’s first distillery since prohibition and the worlds only ski in gastro -distillery. Featuring their High West Whiskey Double Rye, High West Vodka 7000, the only vodka made of Oats and snow mountain water infused with minerals, and High West Silver Whiskey, wine tasting featured  Gruppos Mezzacorona, Premium Port Wines, Arizona Stronghold Vineyards and Domain Napa.










The Town Lift Plaza, featured several vineyards including Francis Coppola Winery, directors cut, stopping at tastings at the Sky Lodge , 201 Herber Avenue and the Riverhorse on Main, 540 Main street also featuring Two Dog Wine from Paso Robles, CA and their new bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon then rounding up the Park City Stroll at Silver Restaurant and bar.










Silver is proud to be serving cocktails and pays respect the golden age of cocktails, first mixed between 1860 and 1940 (brief hiccup in 1930’s). Silver is mixing the classic artisan cocktails like Negroni, Zombie, also the El Presidente, Singapore Sling ,and the Brooklyn.  The food at Silver is delicious featuring American,continental style flavor featuring  Black Kale Caesar, Utah corn & blueberry salad and the Alaskan Halibut en Papillote baked in paper also the Housemade Ricotta Gnocchi and their side of pomegranate infused fried brussel sprouts, dessert chocolate mousse bomb, and cheesecake with salted cotton candy on top. Named “Best Restaurant in Park City.” Talisker on Main by The Salt Lake magazine, honors to executive Chef John Murcko for “reinventing” Park City as a dining destination, over the past 20 years.  Current Chef Briar Handly is appreciated for keeping up the great reputation at Talisker on Main. Delectable appetizers as Adzuki Bean Soup, Chicken Rillette, and main dishes of  Mahi Mahi with artichoke, yogurt and grapefruit.  The Wine and Spirits list is internationally extensive also filled with over 60 half-bottles and 25 wines by the glass. Lunch at Deer Valley Resort featured outdoor dining at the Royal Street Cafe, ahi tuna tartar, and seared fish tacos, were exquisite, and a gluten free soft chocolate chip cookie for dessert, pleasant surprise, Deer Valley also has a gluten free bakery and is also a destination wedding spot with approximately 3 marriages a week, there is grocery cafe with organic mountain grown food .

The night life is also happening in Park City and Danny & Chris Masterson opened up the exclusive Downstairs nightclub, featuring international DJs skills, also hosting many celebrities to the club like Ashton Kutcher, the LA Laker Team, Susan Sarandon, to dance the night away in the old town on the Mountain. VIP Bottle Service, and Specialty Cocktails the great signature “Onyx” Patron XO Cafe, Godiva Liquor Coconut Milk, Shaved Coconut Rim in Martini Glass,bravo Kailee Gielgens of Park City Chamber of Commerce, also created the signature cocktail list, and host of the special events.
