In a recent trip to the Virgin Islands, it was brought to my attention to explore a spirit native to the islands, and it wasn’t rum! As I savored my first sip before my meal arrived, I was rapidly immersed into captivating journey, a completely new world of vodka never previously experienced. The taste was if the spirit just being taken off the grill. It made a significant statement in seconds that was exuberant. It’s inspiration truly resonated with a recent re-read of “Mutiny on the Bounty”, and the British Royal vessels seeking to collect and transport breadfruit plants hundreds of years ago, now even more a timeless and compelling reflection. Truly a Super spirit experience!
